    Sr. Account Manager, Major Accounts

What’s your work-life philosophy?
Work hard, play hard. I firmly believe that being able to balance a hard day at work with a fulfilling personal life always results in more success in both areas.

What do you like best about working at UDT?
I love UDT, but most of all I love the culture that is fostered throughout the organization. While having the opportunity to work and interact with the best professionals in the field, we are being challenged with ever changing technology trends, and a competitive marketplace. UDT has the family-oriented environment where it’s easy to approach anyone (including executives), to ask for collaboration, support, guidance, or sometimes to just joke and catch up.

In South Florida, how are institutions investing in technology within education?
It is my opinion, from a global standpoint, most education institutions have cybersecurity at the very top of their list to protect the most valuable asset; their students. Specific to K-12, most private schools and districts are continuously seeking new ways to either implement or further their curriculum offerings to include more STEAM oriented technologies. This offers their students the foundation that’s become imperative to strengthen our country’s future workforce as it refers to critical and creative thinking; thus enabling students to easily adapt to rapid advances in technology and ever changing job requirements.

What motivates you as a sales professional?
Building long lasting relationships with my clients and coworkers, as well as making a positive impact on those with whom I communicate.

How can institutions in South Florida better leverage technology to advance their mission?
I believe that at its core every institution is a tech organization. Building a strong and comprehensive IT foundation promotes a much more efficient and collaborative work environment which consequently allows them to deliver on their on their mission more competitively.

What is the best professional advice you would give?
Do the right thing all the time. It may not be the easier thing to do but it always pays off.

People would be surprised if they knew you…
I play the Ukulele.

What do you enjoy doing in your time off?
Spending time with all four of the beautiful women God has blessed me with. Spending any kind of time with my amazing wife Ericka is always at the top of things I enjoy. Going to the movies with Brittny, my 20 year old; playing a round of golf with Gaby, my 14 year old (she always beats me); and discussing Star Wars movies with Alejandra my 12 year old. Alejandra knows more Star Wars “factoids” than anyone I know!

Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters appreciates the UDT family-first environment believe in always doing the right thing
